APEdCET 2022 exam date has been announced by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. APEdCET exam is scheduled to be held on July 13, 2022. The official notification for APEdCET 2022 released on May 6, 2022 by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. APEdCET 2022 application process started on May 9. Interested candidates can visit the official website of APEdCET to fill in the APEdCET application form. The last date to fill APEdCET registration form without late fee is June 7, 2022. Meanwhile last date of submission of APEdCET application form with late fee of INR 1000 is June 15. Last date of submission of APEdCET registration form with late fee of INR 2000 is June 22. APEdCET 2022 application correction window will open from June 17 to June 24. APEdCET 2022 admit card will be avalable for download from July 7. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for the APEdCET exam 2022.

What is APEdCET?Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (APEdCET) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) to offer admission to aspirants in B.Ed regular programme of two years duration. The scores of APEd CET are used to get admissions to University/Government/Aided/Un-aided/Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh.

Aspirants meet APEdCET 2022 eligibility criteria if they fulfil the below-mentioned criteria:
APEdCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria: Nationality & Locality- Are Indian nationals
- Fulfil Local/Non-Local status requirements as stated in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
- Aspirants should have cleared/appeared for their final year examination for BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BCA/ BBM at the time of APEdCET 2022 application form submission
- Aspirants should have secured at least 50 per cent marks either in the bachelor’s degree, that is, BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BCA/ BBM and/ or in the master’s degree in relevant subject or in a five-year integrated course in the relevant subject or any other equivalent qualification. Candidates belonging to reserved categories, that is, SC, ST, BC and physically handicapped, are eligible to apply for the exam if they have secured at least 40 per cent marks in the qualifying examination.
- Aspirants meet APEdCET eligibility criteria if they have completed 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which the exam notification has been issued. There is no maximum age limit.
Note: The candidates who passed BE/ BTech with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and studied Mathematics and Physics are eligible for admission into the course.

The admission process through APEdCET exam includes the following steps:
- APEdCET application form: Candidates need to fill APEdCET 2022 application form on the official website of the entrance test. With the application form, aspirants do not need to upload any certificates/ documents. Candidates can pay APEDCET 2022 application fee of INR 600 through AP Online/ debit card/ credit card/ net banking
- APEdCET hall ticket: Aspirants can download APEdCET 2022 admit card from the official website of the exam. The admit card for APEdCET contains the aspirant’s name, roll number and test centre details
- APEdCET exam: APEdCET exam is divided into three parts – Part A, Part B and Part C. The first two sections, that is, Part A and Part B contain common questions for all aspirants. Part C contains questions depending on the course/ subject selected by candidates. APEdCET exam is of two hours duration
- APEdCET result: Aspirants need to view APEdCET 2022 result on the official website of the exam. To check APEdCET result aspirants need to type their hall ticket and registration number on the official exam website. Once the result for APEdCET 2022 is declared, candidates can download their rank card from the official website. APEdCET rank is valid for one year
